QUICK GULAB JAMUN


I tried Gulab Jamun's on 01 feb 2011 turned out pretty good. So here is my first recipe:
Dough:Milk Powder(I used Nido) 1 cupAll purpose flour 1 tbs
Semolina(sooji) 1 tsp
Egg 1Baking powder 1 tspBaking soda 1 pinchOil as needed for deep frying
Sugar Solution
Water 4 cups
Sugar 2 cups

Method:
Mix all the ingredients for the Dough together and knead a little
Make small balls (size may vary per preference) I made 20.
Heat Oil and fry these balls on medium to low heat
Remove from oil and set aside




In a separate saucepan add water and sugar and bring to boil.

Let it boil till the solution becomes a little thick.

Now add the balls to this hot solution and let it stand for a while.

Yummy Gulab jamuns are ready to eat.
